It takes us a fair bit of time to research the guitars people ask us about, so we can't check everyone. Users who post often to the forums and make such requests are more likely to be helped out.
Well, it looks seasoned thats all. It was hardly played. The frets are in great condition, in fact the whole guitar is basically in great condition(no scratches or dings) just this weird colour. Even the tuner are only slightly tarnished. The made in Japan sticker is still stuck to the back of the headstock.
I might send it for refretting though, cos the frets are a bit dull, but thats just my personal preference. Nothing bad Anyway, i have an Ovation Celebrity CSE24 and compared to that, the Cimar is much more mellow but the sound is much fuller.
I guess its because the Ovation has an acoustic bowl and is a cutaway. The Cimar resonates very well too and has the perfect action setting. Easy to play. The neck is fatter than the ovation though, but still very comfortable. I think i am starting to love this gutiar more than my Ovation.
