The cars are powered by gravity and run down a regulation track. The pinewood derby is an annual event in most packs. It can be run indoors or outdoors. The 2018 Middlesex Championship Pinewood Derby is open to the top 3 finishers in each rank from Middlesex District Packs Pinewood Derbies. Scouts must be.
